Cookbook Giveaway!

Remember this post?

My dessert making yesterday reminded me how I actually really like making desserts. There’s something ritualistic about it, cathartic even. More than the food itself, it’s the act, and the giving that I like. Of course, it can’t hurt if the food is deliciously good AND vegan too.

Which leads to me the subject of this post: book giveaway!

I have a brand-new extra copy of Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, by Isa Moskowitz & Terry Romero, that I’m going to give away in this blog’s first ever drawing (applause)!
This cookbook doesn’t exactly include health food recipes, but I’m not against treats now and again (which does not mean everyday, fyi!), and I think you should be able to whip up a vegan something that is beautiful and delicious for birthday parties and other special events that you know everyone will love. A lot of people sort of think that once you become a whole fooder and/or vegan, not an ounce of sweetness will grace your lips again because you can’t make any treat without milk, eggs, cream and other dairy products. Simply not true! And this cookbook will show you how. It even includes a few gluten-free recipes.
The winner of the drawing will get the book in addition to a veganized version of their favorite recipe. I understand that might be a sacrilege to some of you (veganizing my favorite cheesecake! ack!), however I think a lot of you want to know how to make a healthified or veganized versions of your favorite desserts but don’t have a clue as to how to do it.
